Hackathon Onboarding Begins Tomorrow - Here's What You Need To Know!

Hi Participants,

 

We’re thrilled to have you in the AI Bias Bounty Hackathon, and it all begins tomorrow.

 

This is an opportunity to explore how AI models can go wrong, challenge your instincts, and put your skills to work on a real-world issue that matters.

You may participate solo or in a team of up to 4 members. If you’re joining as a team, please ensure that each team member registers individually using this link:

Here’s what to expect:

 

Kickoff Timeline

  • Registration Ends today at 11:59pm CT
  • Onboarding to our Slack Channel Starts tomorrow, 28th June, and continues till 30th June.
  • We will release the dataset on the 30th of June.
  • Submissions are due by 3rd of July, 11:59pm CT

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Analyze the training dataset and build a classification model
  • Detect and report hidden unusual patterns in the dataset.
  • Submit your findings, performance metrics, and visuals using the submission form (you’ll receive this later)
  • Slack Onboarding Starts Saturday

We’ll begin welcoming everyone into the Slack workspace on Saturday through Monday, with recorded tips and walkthroughs from industry leaders at Google, OpenAI, Meta, Amazon, and Microsoft.

 

You’ll get exclusive content designed to help you think critically, spot ethical issues, and analyze models like a pro.

We’ll provide support throughout the competition, including FAQ answers, office hour opportunities, and help channels in Slack.
